Council of Ethnic Minority Voluntary Sector Organisations

CEMVO’s Policy and Research Team is involved in a wide range of activities designed to further existing knowledge of issues affecting Britain’s BME communities through evidence-based research and the dissemination and sharing of best practice. The Team carries out in-house research as well as commissioning and managing scholarly work, regularly engaging in joined-up projects with research consultants and academic institutions.

One of the main aims of CEMVO’s Policy and Research function is to directly involve our beneficiaries at all levels of our work; we therefore make use of our community networks, Regional Advisory Committees and stakeholder infrastructure to feed into Government policy consultations affecting the sector.
