Increasing knowledge
Influencing and generating policy needs to be based on sound facts and scientifically collected opinion. CEMVO has conducted many pieces of infrastructure research which have influenced policy and added to knowledge.
Making the minority ethnic community’s voice heard needs good intelligence and information – this is derived from sound research. Government and other organisations make this research more appropriate by using CEMVO and similar resources to conduct studies and advise on policy issues.
Benefiting the community
CEMVO staff use both qualitative and quantitative studies together with market research techniques to discover inequalities and the needs of minority ethnic and excluded communities in our effort to bring them into the mainstream of our society.
